The Post-Degree Master’s Programme is aimed at holders of Master’s degrees, such as:
Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy (14/S or LM13); Medical, Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (9/S or LM9); Industrial Biotechnology (8/S or LM8); Chemical Engineering (27/S or LM22), Chemical Sciences (62/S or LM54), Biology (6/S or LM-6), Biomedical Engineering (26/S or LM-21), Industrial Chemistry Sciences and Technologies (81/S – LM 71).

It is also aimed at graduates of pre-Ministerial Decree 509/99 degree programmes in: Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies or Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacy, Agro-Industrial Biotechnology, Biotechnology (Pharmaceutical Biotechnology specialisation), Biotechnology (Industrial Biotechnology specialisation), Biotechnology (Medical Biotechnology specialisation), Biotechnology (Veterinary Biotechnology specialisation), Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry.

Our Post-graduate 2nd Level Master Programme aims to prepare specialized personnel with a high level of qualification, able to cover various professional positions within the biopharmaceutical drugs world.
These professionals will be qualified as:
• Manager/ Director of laboratories with biotechnological and pharmacological characterization.
• Coordinator of development and monitoring programs of applied biotechnologies in human health, regarding the industrial development of biopharmaceutical products, the industrial aspects of biotechnological drugs production, and the management of scientific and process-related data with artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Expert in management of the regulatory aspects of the market authorizations, of the ethical and legal implications for the marketing of biopharmaceuticals with aspects of environmental protection and sustainability.

Innovation in manufacturing technologies is helping to drive improved economics, flexibility, and quality, offering potential direct and indirect benefits to patients. The biopharmaceutical sector is moving toward the following areas:
- New concepts in sustainable pharmaceutical manufacturing and continuous monitoring of the Target Product Profile (TPP) within a personalized medicine framework.
- Continuous manufacturing to enhance scalability and accelerate time-to-market.
- New Process Analytical Technology (PAT) tools to increase process robustness, accelerate scale-up by improving quality, facilitate the transition to commercial production, and ensure long-term market drug usability.
- Innovative downstream processing techniques to develop green processes and chemistry aimed at waste reduction.
- Biopharmaceutical drug substances, biosimilars, advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs), new vaccines, and therapeutic production methods to increase capacity, scalability, and flexibility.
- Innovative delivery systems to increase patient compliance and facilitate better use of both new and existing drugs.
- Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to streamline all processes within biopharmaceutical manufacturing sites.
- Regulatory aspects for the marketing authorization of biological drugs, ensuring compliance with regulations and ethics.
- Search for market opportunities, Open Innovation, and technological translation.
