The Third Mission promotes the application of research knowledge to enhance the knowledge generated in the university in society. 

It includes all those activities that, by fostering the dissemination of innovation and access to knowledge, contribute to the well-being of individuals and to the economic, social and cultural development of their communities. 

It reflects the commitment of a university attentive to economic, social and environmental challenges, open and close to the territories in which it operates.
