Internships

The Internship (or traineeship) is a period of variable duration that the student or graduate can spend at businesses or institutions that have signed a specific agreement with the University.

Although an internship does not constitute an employment relationship, it offers a valuable opportunity for professional training and an initial introduction to the business world. Internships are classified as either curricular or extra-curricular, depending on whether they are undertaken during the course of studies or within 12 months following graduation.

  • Curricular internships are carried out during the studies. The work experience integrates the educational path and allows the acquisition of credits as provided in the study plan.
  • Extra-curricular internships (traineeships) are conducted within 12 months from the date of graduation.
