IRIS Unimore is the information system for the research conducted at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. It consists of a catalogue of scientific publications by Unimore authors and allows the mapping of people, groups, laboratories, equipment, research projects, and third mission activities.
In the public portal of IRIS, only the publications of Unimore staff are available and the relevant metadata are always visible without logging in, if the related full-text files are in open access. Since IRIS is an open archive, the data are open and can be indexed and used by other systems.
IRIS Unimore is also the data source for external and internal research evaluation procedures: ASN (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale), SUA-RD (Scheda Unica Annuale della Ricerca Dipartimentale), VQR (Valutazione della Qualità della Ricerca), research activity survey, inactive resources evaluation, individual and departmental indicator verification. It is synchronized with each Unimore author's loginmiur page, if they have an ongoing partnership with the university.
