Pursuant to Article 5 of Legislative Decree No. 59 of 13 April 2017, published in OJ General Series No. 112 of 16-05-2017 - Ordinary Suppl. No. 23, and the subsequent DM 616/2017 and its annexes , the 24 CFUs must be acquired in such a way as to ensure the possession of at least six credits in each of at least three of the following four subject areas:
- pedagogy, special pedagogy and didactics of inclusion;
- psychology;
- anthropology;
- teaching methodologies and technologies.
A maximum of 12 CFUs may be acquired in each field. The acquisition of the 24 CFU must be certified in a single ad hoc document known as a 'single certificate'.

PLEASE NOTE: we would like to inform you that Law no. 79 of 29 June 2022 stipulates that the ministerial competition for common secondary school teachers' posts can be accessed, until 31 December 2024, with the 24 CFUs (ex Ministerial Decree no. 616/17) obtained by 31 October 2022.
Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 59 of 13 April 2017 ( published in OJ General Series no. 112 of 16-05-2017 - Ordinary Suppl. No. 23) and the Decree of the Ministry of Education, University and Research No. 616 of 10 August 2017, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia has established, for the academic year 2017/18, the MOREPEF24 Training Path for the acquisition of the basic skills required as admission requirements to the national public competition, for qualifications and examinations, for access to the FIT pathway referred to in Chapter II of the aforementioned legislative decree. These skills, amounting to a total of 24 credits (CFU), concern the anthropo-psycho-pedagogical disciplines and teaching methodologies and technologies. Admission to the course required possession of a university degree, a master's degree or single-cycle degree and equivalent qualifications; a university diploma pursuant to Law 341/90; schools directed for special purposes; a three-year degree DM 509/99; a specialised degree or single-cycle degree DM 509/99; a degree prior to DM 509/99; a second-level degree from the high level of artistic, musical and coreutical training, or an equivalent or equivalent qualification. Students enrolled in one of the aforementioned courses at the University or enrolled in a specialisation school or a PhD course at the University were also admitted unless this was precluded by the provisions governing the courses attended.
The Academic Bodies for the academic years 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 have resolved to activate procedures for the recognition of all 24 CFUs already acquired in specific SSDs and traceable to the objectives of DM 616/17.
