The tuition fee amount can be checked by logging into the www.esse3.unimore.it portal under the Tuition Fee menu. This will allow you to access the pagoPA platform to proceed with payment.
Using the pagoPA platform, it is possible to:
- pay online by choosing your Payment Service Provider - PSP. Confirmation of payment will be sent by email to the email address entered during registration on the Esse3 portal, or to the university email address if it is already activated.
The payment receipt can be printed from your personal Esse3 page, under Tuition Fees;
- alternatively print out the payment notice to make the payment at Banks, ATMs, SISAL, Lottomatica and ITB points of sale, which perform the PSP service for the pagoPA platform, which will issue a receipt.
The cost of the financial transaction may vary depending on the PSP chosen.
IMPORTANT: Pay attention to deadlines! For the University, the DATE OF PAYMENT RECORDED ON THE TELEMATIC RECEIPT OF PAYMENT (RT) is effective.

WARNING: pagoPA is the national platform for payments to the Public Administration, managed by the pagoPA S.p.A. company.
UNIMORE adheres to the pagoPA platform for the management of its collections, thereby making use of the related Payment Service Providers (PSPs), which offer the possibility to choose between different channels and instruments to pay the amount owed. For this reason, any malfunctions during the payment phase may not be attributable directly to UNIMORE, but depend on momentary inefficiencies of the providers involved in the transaction. For more information on the different payment options possible through pagoPA, please refer to: www.pagoPA.gov.it/it/cittadini/dove-pagare/
The CBILL interbank service allows citizens and businesses to consult and pay online pagoPA bills and payment notices directly through their bank, if participating in the service. To identify Unimore search for "Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia" or alternatively use the SIA / CBILL AWAGF code in the CBILL portal.
In the event of late payment of each single instalment, a surcharge of €30.00 shall be applied up to 15 consecutive and continuous days after the due date and €70.00 from the 16th day onwards.
Important: please note that for the University, the payment date transmitted by the PSP where the payment was made and present on the relative telematic receipt (RT) shall be considered valid. The late payment surcharge will only be generated on the student's personal page when the University has received the result of the late payment. Payment of the surcharge is also a necessary condition to be able to make use of the on-line booking services for the exam session and to sit the final exams. Please note that for the University, the date of payment transmitted by the bank when the payment is made is the official date of payment.
The registration of the payment may not be guaranteed if made on the same day as the deadline. Students are invited to check the conditions and times at which their bank provides the Home Banking service: many banks do not execute payments after service hours and the transaction is taken over by the bank and booked on the following working day. For those enrolled in programmes where the University has decided to offer admission with a defined number of students or has brought forward the date of enrolment with respect to most programmes, the late payment surcharge may be applied starting from the second instalment, since, in accordance with the deadlines set out in the calls for admission to programmes with a defined number of students or in the programme regulations, late payment of the first instalment normally results in exclusion from the possibility of enrolling in the programme.
We would also like to remind you that in order to sit the exams and obtain the degree, you must be up to date with the payment of tuition and fees and any surcharges.
