Classes at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia start approximately in mid-September.
Class schedules and exam calendars are available on each department's website (Teaching - Teaching Structure) or from the web calendar with schedules, calendars and classrooms:
The training and orientation internship (or work experience) consists of a period of variable duration that the student or graduate can spend at a company or organisation that has entered into a specific agreement with the University.
The TOLC (Cisia Online Test) is a computerised test organised by the Interuniversity Consortium for Integrated Access Systems (CISIA).
For some first-level degree programmes with limited enrolment (three-year bachelor's degrees and single-cycle master's degrees), you must take this test to be included in the ranking list and enrol.
In other degree programmes, however, it is only an orientation tool, not a prerequisite for enrolment, used to assess the minimum knowledge required for admission to a specific programme and, if necessary, assign you additional learning requirements (OFA).
For open-access Bachelor's and Single-cycle Master's degree programmes, verification of the academic background through a written or oral test is compulsory. Failure to pass the test does not preclude enrolment but will result in the assignment of one or more Additional Learning Requirements (OFA), which must be completed by the end of the first year.
