The University awards the following study qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (L), Master's Degree (LM), Specialist Diploma (DS), PhD (DR), First Level and Second Level University Master's Programme qualification.

Unimore offers the possibility of international training programmes that allow selected students to spend part of their careers at their own university and part at partner universities. At the end of the programme, students may be awarded a double degree (a degree from Unimore and a degree from the partner university) or a joint degree (a single degree awarded jointly by the partner universities).

ECTS CREDITS AND GRADES

Degree programmes are structured in terms of University Educational Credits (ECTS). ECTS credits are a tool for measuring the amount of learning work, including individual study, required of the student to acquire knowledge and skills in the learning activities of the degree programme. Each ECTS credit usually corresponds to 25 hours of student work; the average amount of academic work done in a year by a full-time student is conventionally set at 60 credits, or 1500 hours. ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits are considered equivalent to Italian University Educational Credits.

The ECTS credits corresponding to each educational activity are acquired by the student upon passing the exam or other forms of assessment.

For first- and second-cycle degree programmes, the Italian grading system uses a scale of 30, with 18/30 as the minimum grade required to pass an exam. In cases of excellence, honours (30 with honours) may be added to the highest mark. The final mark is a maximum of 110 points, with 66/110 as the minimum grade. In cases of excellence, honours may be added to the highest grade. The final grade for each student is calculated based on their curriculum and the result of the final exam.
