Indications for specific types

Part-time registration

For some study courses Unimore has provided, in addition to full-time enrolment, the possibility of 50% part-time enrolment. Part-time enrolment, reserved exclusively for current students, consists of dividing attendance and passing examinations for one year of the course over two years. The choice is binding for two academic years and allows a 40% reduction in tuition fees alone.
During the online enrolment procedure, choose part-time enrolment and attach the completed part-time form.

Matriculation with request for recognition of prior career examinations

If you have already been enrolled at Unimore or at another university, you can request recognition of the exams you have already taken by attaching, during the enrolment procedure in Esse3, the "Recognition of learning activities" form which can be found at the link online forms. After final enrolment, the Enrolment Office will send your request for recognition of examinations to the Student secretariat. The Student secretariat will check that the application is correctly filled in (if not, it will send you an email to the address registered in Esse3) and will upload in Esse3, on your personal page under "Fees", the fee to be paid. After payment, the Student secretariat will send your request to the Department for a resolution. The outcome of the decision will be shown in your online booklet.

Request for Course Changeover

If you are a student enrolled in a Unimore course and you wish to enrol in a different Unimore degree course, you must send by e-mail to the student secretary of the course in which you are enrolled the "Passaggio di Corso o Ordinamento" form available at the link modulistica on-line, affixing a € 16.00 revenue stamp to the application form and pay the first instalment of tuition fees for the new year, even if they refer to the old course. If you have to transfer to a course with programmed access, remember to pay the first instalment of the old course by the deadline indicated in the announcement.

Transfer request to Unimore

If you are a student enrolled on a course at another university, you must apply for a transfer at your home university. You must then proceed with online enrolment at www.esse3.unimore.it and select the 'Enrolment for transfer' type. During the online procedure you will have to attach the "Incoming transfer" form, which can be found at the link online forms
A fee must be paid for all exam recognition requests.

University fees and contributions

The university fee to be paid for university registration depends on the course attended. Fees are paid in 4 instalments. Information on exemptions or reductions can be found on the University Fees and Benefits page.

Benefits and Right to Study

In order to apply for total or partial exemption from the payment of fees and contributions, as well as scholarships, fee reductions, accommodation in university residences, subsidised access to the catering service, contributions for international mobility and paid student collaborations, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the Regional Agency for the Right to Higher Studies ER.GO annually publish a call for benefits generally available from mid-July. Fill in the online application directly on the website www.er-go.it by the benefits deadlines for the academic year 2024-2025.

If the application is completed prior to enrolment, and within the deadlines, those who qualify for a fee reduction will only be able to pay what is foreseen in their reduction bracket.
In order to apply for benefits, you need an ISEE certificate for subsidised benefits for the right to university study (ISEE 2024), which can be obtained from one of the CAAFs that have an agreement with the university. The list of CAAF is available at www.er-go.it. The issue of the ISEE certificate may entail a waiting time of 15 days.
