Under Art. 34 of the Italian Constitution:
“The school is open to all people. Capable and deserving students have the right to reach the highest education despite their economic situation. The Italian Republic enforces this right by offering scholarships, allowances to families and other benefits, which must be assigned through open competition.”
Right to university education
The right to university education represents the set of initiatives promoted to facilitate university students’ success. The different benefits and services offered by the University are based both on financial and/or income situation, and merit requirements.
